The position requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with practice staff and facilities to obtain necessary authorizations, records, and scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Minimum (1) year of experience in a medical office setting is highly preferred.
• BLS may be required as per the practice standard.

Responsibilities

• Obtain CPT and ICD-10 codes and other clinical information from practice staff for treatment.
• Prepare documentation for Medicare and patient notices per practice procedures.
• Determine OR time and coordinate scheduling with the facility, including anesthesia coverage and required records.
