Intermountain Health seeks an RN Shift Lead I for a part-time day shift at St James Hospital, Butte, MT. This role provides leadership and clinical expertise, coordinating resources to align census and acuity with clinical and financial goals.

The position requires a BSN within 4 years (or 15 years acute care), Montana RN license, and BLS certification. Expect potential cross-coverage, on-call duties, and committee involvement as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care.
• Responds to patient emergencies and acts as charge/lead for disasters.
• Collaborates with staffing office to adjust staff for census changes.
• Communicates with the oncoming Charge Nurse about census, staffing and admissions/discharges.
• Supports unit management in productivity, staffing and timekeeping.
• Participates in hospital committees as unit representative as needed.
• Promotes Intermountain Health mission, vision and values.
• May be required to float to other departments within competency.
• May be placed on-call during a scheduled shift.
