Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at our Birmingham, AL site. This hands-on leadership role will manage a team, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and align production activities with schedules and budgets.

The position requires 5+ years in production with supervisory experience, excellent communication, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production or manufacturing environments.
• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience in construction manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow production specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees and supervisors.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate production schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment needs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain high standards for product quality and production accuracy.
• Train and onboard new employees while supporting ongoing employee development.
• Communicate production performance, challenges, and needs to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
• Help implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
