Job summary

Prime Healthcare's St. Joseph Medical Group in Kansas City, MO seeks a Patient Service Representative to interview patients, collect demographics, and prep for visits. This full-time days shift runs 7:30am–4:00pm in a high-volume office.

Responsibilities include scheduling, insurance verification, front-desk duties, and greeting patients. Candidates should have at least 2 years in a medical office, knowledge of medical terminology, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain demographics and prep for visits.
• Schedule patients in clinic and radiology as requested by providers.
• Verify insurance, collect co-pays and balances, and assist billing as needed.
• Greet patients, check in, answer and route phone calls.
• Coordinate clinic processes and maintain data accuracy in systems.
