Job summary

Home Chef in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Line Cook for 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) with Fridays and Saturdays off. You will perform raw food prep, labeling, and portioning for Ready to Heat products, while following strict food safety SOPs and GMPs onsite.

Responsibilities include documenting times/temperatures for batch tracing, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting with changeovers for allergens. 0% travel; 6+ months production experience preferred; HS diploma optional.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma preferred but not required.
• 6+ months of production/warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with others as a team.

Responsibilities

• Raw food prep, washing, cutting, cooking, cooling.
• Label packaging at standard rate and document progress.
• Read and understand recipes and prepare sauces/ components.
