Home Chef in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Production Associate for the 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with Thursdays and Fridays off. The role focuses on labeling, portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping while ensuring GMPs and SQF food safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma preferred but not required.
• 6+ months of production/warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with others as a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive direction from Supervisor or Production Lead to fulfill production requirements.
• Label packaging at the standard average rate.
• Portion ingredients with measuring utensils.
• Maintain strong attention to detail while bagging/kitting.
• Visually inspect produce.
• Transition between tasks when needed.
• Follow GMPs while onsite at the facilities.
• Keep work area clean and assist in EOD clean ups.
• Adhere to safety guidelines (lifting techniques).
• Support SQF and quality programs.
