Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a RTH Production Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Bedford Park, IL, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with Saturdays and Sundays off. The role safely operates, monitors, and cleans Ready to Heat equipment to maintain continuous production and follows SOPs and food-safety protocols.

Responsibilities include operating and monitoring equipment, performing basic checks, and helping organize the RTH drop zone, while reporting issues to the Lead Operator.

Qualifications

• General High School diploma, or equivalent, preferred but not required.
• 6+ months of production/warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with others as a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor RTH equipment safely and adjust basic settings.
• Clean equipment and conduct basic operator checks per SOP.
• Maintain and organize the RTH drop zone and communicate needs.
• Follow lock out tag out procedures and GMPs to ensure safety.
• Document machine settings and report issues to Lead Operator.
