Job summary

Home Chef is hiring a Machine Operator in Bedford Park, IL for a 1st shift (6:30 AM to 3:30 PM) with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. The role focuses on running production equipment, safe operation, and accurate meal bagging while following SOPs and GMPs.

You will label packaging, portion ingredients, and support shipping goals. A fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma preferred but not required.
• 6+ months of production/warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with others as a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and assist in labeling and packaging.
• Follow SOPs/BPs and report machine issues to supervision.
• Perform setup, calibration, cleaning, and changeovers as needed.
• Inspect output for quality and ensure correct quantities in meal bags.
• Maintain GMP practices and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Support shipping goals and collaborate with team to meet targets.
