Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for the 1st shift. The role focuses on operating and maintaining industrial melting furnaces to produce high‑quality molten metal for die casting, with a daytime schedule (6:00 AM – 2:15 PM) and direct-hire stability.

Starting pay up to $31/hour with a $64,480/year baseline, plus performance bonuses, 401(k) with company match, comprehensive health and dental coverage, and attendance-based bonus PTO opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated job stability with at least 2 years at each prior employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces or in heavy manufacturing melt environments.
• Able to weigh and count materials and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, charge and maintain industrial melting furnaces according to melt specs.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities while maintaining temperature and cleanliness.
• Pull liquid metal samples for laboratory analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts and hoists to move ingots and finished product.
• Record production quantities and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Adhere to OSHA, Lockout/Tagout and 5S standards.
