Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for a 1st shift in Cedarburg, WI. This direct-hire role focuses on operating and maintaining high‑pressure aluminum melt furnaces, charging raw materials, skimming, sampling, and ensuring alloy quality for die casting.

The position offers stability, a clear daytime schedule (6:00 AM – 2:15 PM, Mon–Fri), and benefits including health/dental coverage, 401(k) matching, and bonus PTO opportunities for strong attendance.

Qualifications

• Career stability with at least 2+ years at each previous employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces or in heavy foundry/metalworking.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI area.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate, charge and maintain industrial melting furnaces to spec.
• Tap and skim molten metal while maintaining temperature and cleanliness.
• Pull samples for lab analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Operate forklifts/hoists to move ingots and finished product.
• Record material quantities and maintain quality documentation.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and 5S workplace standards.
