Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for our high‑pressure aluminum foundry on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:15 PM). You will tap, charge, skim, sample, and maintain furnaces to ensure alloy quality for die‑casting cells.

Direct‑hire with pay up to $31.00/hr ($64,480/yr baseline) plus bonus opportunities, 401(k) match, full health/dental benefits, and opportunities for extra PTO for strong attendance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer required.
• Foundry/melt operations experience preferred.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Operate and charge industrial melting furnaces with ingots and scrap.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities to maintain quality.
• Pull lab samples for metallurgical analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic maintenance on furnaces and transfer equipment.
• Operate forklifts and hoists to move materials.
• Maintain production logs and quality records.
• Follow OSHA/5S safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
