Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for a high-precision aluminum foundry in Cedarburg, WI. This direct-hire, first-shift role runs 6:00 AM–2:15 PM with hourly pay up to $31 and a baseline around $64,480/year, plus bonus opportunities and benefits.

You will operate and maintain furnaces, charge ingots, skim molten metal, and collect samples for quality analysis, while upholding safety and 5S standards. Requires 2+ years in melt operations and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• US work authorization without sponsorship
• 45-minute commute within Cedarburg, WI area

Responsibilities

• Operate and charge industrial melting furnaces with ingots, sows, and scrap.
• Tap and skim molten metal to maintain quality and temperature.
• Pull lab samples for chemical analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and preventative tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts/hoists) to move materials.
• Document production quantities and attendance in logs.
• Adhere to OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and 5S standards.
