Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for 1st shift in a high‑pressure aluminum die casting environment. You will operate and maintain furnaces, charge materials, skim impurities, and pull lab samples to ensure alloy quality.

This direct-hire role offers competitive hourly pay up to $31/hr, $64,480/yr baseline, plus bonuses, 401(k) with match, health/dental benefits, and a stable ISO-certified facility with long-tenure teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces or in heavy manufacturing melt operations.
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Operate and charge furnaces with ingots, sows and scrap.
• Tap and skim molten metal to maintain quality and temperature.
• Pull samples for metallurgical analysis and labeling.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift, hoists) safely.
• Maintain production logs and quality documentation.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and LOTO protocols.
