Job summary

CBRE Facilities Maintenance Technician in Clyde, OH, on a Monday–Friday day shift. This onsite role includes an on-call rotation to provide essential coverage and support daily manufacturing operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems, diagnose issues, and complete repairs. Additional duties include plumbing, equipment support, grounds upkeep, and assisting with installation or modification of building systems, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience; combination of experience and education considered in lieu of diploma.
• Driver's license required.
• Able to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Strong communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, kitchen equipment support, grounds upkeep, and other routine tasks.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
