Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Supervisor, II Account in Indiana to actively supervise driver performance and ensure on-time service. The role focuses on safety metrics, pro-active coaching, and strong communication with customers and drivers to maximize profitability and reliability.

The position involves coordinating with safety and operations teams and is performed on-site in Indiana. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in operations, fleet management, or load planning, with knowledge of DOT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety metrics and KPIs around service pickup, deadhead, assignments per week.
• Supervise driver performance balancing business and driver needs.
• Coach drivers using High Performance Coaching.
• Maintain high service levels through proactive communication with customers and drivers.
• Maximize profitability through efficient equipment utilization.
• Handle driver disputes with effective communication.
• Plan driver loads based on availability and ensure on-time service.
• Coordinate with drivers for physicals and CDL renewal deadlines.
• Work with AS400 and XPM to maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments and support teams.
