Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners in the southwest suburban Atlanta area seeks a Controls Technician for a day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri). The role includes cell design, integration of controls, and installation of automated equipment.

You will build PLC panels and program, test, and commission systems to run production lines. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of related experience, PLC programming skills, and familiarity with sensors, hydraulic/pneumatic controls, VFDs, and safety circuits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience
• PLC programming with context clues within PLC programs
• Wiring a 9-lead motor and stress testing windings
• Identifying data plate info for component specs
• Sensor familiarity: PNP, NPN, loop-powered, dry contact
• Analog control: 4-20mA and 0-10V
• Ladder logic troubleshooting
• Panel building
• Electrical experience
• Some robotic experience
• Safety circuit integration
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Install and program PLC panels and get equipment running
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using a computer
• Install, program, or repair programmable controllers and robot controllers
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine upgrades
• Work with engineers and production to achieve output goals
• Train others to install, use, and service equipment
