Ridgemont Resources, Inc. in the southwest suburban Atlanta area seeks a skilled Controls Technician for a day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri). The role involves designing cells, integrating controls, and installing automated equipment.

You will build PLC panels, program them, and get systems up and running. Responsibilities include pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting, installing and repairing controllers, and assisting in maintenance of production equipment.

Formación

• At least 6 years of related experience.
• Proficient PLC programming with ability to infer logic from PLC programs.
• Comfortable programming a machine process from scratch.
• Able to wire a 9-lead motor and perform stress testing of windings.
• Able to read motors data plates to spec components (contactors, soft starters, VFDs).
• Familiar with sensors: PNP, NPN, loop-powered, and dry contact.
• Understanding of analog controls: 4-20mA and 0-10V signals.
• Ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Panel building experience.
• Electrical experience.
• Some robotic experience.
• Safety circuit integration.

Responsabilidades

• Install, program, or repair programmable controllers and robot controllers.
• Build PLC panels and program them to run automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using a computer.
• Maintain and service automated production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades.
• Repair or replace defective parts and disassemble/reassemble equipment as needed.
• Train others to install, use, and service equipment.
