Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a skilled Controls Technician for the day shift in the southwest suburban Atlanta area. The role involves designing cells, integrating controls, and installing automated equipment.

You will build and program PLC panels, get systems running, and configure, test, and service controls and related automation. Responsibilities include pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, PLC and robot controller work, and collaboration with engineers and production teams to

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in controls with manufacturing focus.
• PLC programming and context clues within PLC code.
• Experience programming machine processes from scratch.
• Wiring a 9-lead motor and stress-testing windings.
• Reading motors data plates for specing components and control parts.
• Familiar with sensors: PNP, NPN, loop-powered, and dry contact.
• Analog control signals: 4-20mA and 0-10V.
• Ladder logic troubleshooting and panel building.
• Safety circuit integration and electrical experience.
• Some robotics experience; authorization to work in USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, test, and program PLCs for automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.
• Build and install control panels and robot controllers.
• Maintain and service automated production equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to meet outputs.
• Train others to install, operate, and service equipment.
