Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners in the Atlanta area seeks a skilled Controls Technician to design, install, and service automated equipment on day shift (7:00am–3:30pm, Mon-Fri). You will build PLC panels, program them, and get systems up and running while supporting production with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has at least six years of related experience, strong PLC programming ability, and hands-on wiring of 9-lead motors, sensors, and safety circuits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of related controls experience.
• Proficient PLC programming with ability to interpret programs from prints.
• Experience wiring motors and evaluating motor data plates for components.
• Strong understanding of sensors (PNP/NPN, loop-powered, dry contact).
• Knowledge of analog signals 4-20mA and 0-10V and ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Experience panel building and safety circuit integration.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and bring PLC panels and automated equipment online.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using computer-based tools.
• Install, program, or repair programmable and robot controllers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to meet output targets.
• Train colleagues to install, use, and service equipment.
