Job summary

John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, MO seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care, perform ADLs, monitor vitals, and document care per policy. The role supports the village's mission, values, and PRIDE expectations.

Shifts are 7a–3p with starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Qualifications include MO/KS CNA certification as applicable, high school diploma or GED, CPR preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Requires a combination of education, training and/or experience ordinarily leading to a high school diploma or GED.
• MO CNA certification required if working in MO; KS CNA certification required if working in KS
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to residents and assists with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Accurately checks and records temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure; records weights.
• Keeps residents clean, dry and comfortable and reports information to supervising staff.
• Completes documentation of nursing care to meet state and facility requirements.
• May perform custodial, housekeeping, food service, and escort duties as needed.
• Adheres to safety regulations and maintains professional conduct.
