Job summary

John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care. The role supports the Village’s mission and PRIDE expectations, with training hours as required.

Shifts are 7a–7p, every Tuesday and Thursday, on-site. MO/KS CNA certifications may apply; CPR certification preferred. Applicant will engage in essential nursing tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires combination of education, training and/or experience typically leading to a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to residents, assists with ADLs, and follows facility policies and procedures.
• Checks and records temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure; records weights.
• Ensures residents are clean, dry and comfortable and reports information to supervising nurse.
• Documents nursing care accurately on charting forms and meets state/Village requirements.
• May perform custodial, housekeeping, or food service duties as needed.
• Assists residents with eating and participates in resident care planning conferences.
• Follows safety regulations and maintains professional workplace conduct.
