John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care on a two-week rotating schedule. The role requires adherence to facility policies, accurate documentation, and compassionate service aligned with PRIDE values.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, vital signs checks, reporting to the supervising nurse, and potential duties in custodial, food service or escort tasks. MO/KS CNA certs vary by location; CPR preferred.

Competenze

• Requires a combination of education, training and/or experience typically leading to a high school diploma or GED.
• MO CNA certification required if working in MO; KS CNA and Home Health aide certification required if working in KS
• Current CPR certification preferred.

• Provides personal care to residents, assisting with ADLs and other duties within scope of practice.
• Accurately checks and records temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures; records weights.
• Keeps residents clean, dry and comfortable.
• Reports resident information to the supervising nurse or manager promptly.
• Maintains required nursing care documentation to meet state and Village requirements.
• May perform custodial, housekeeping, food service, and wheelchair escort duties as needed.
• Assists residents with eating when necessary.
• Participates in case conferences related to resident goals and care.
