Job summary

John Knox Village Limited in Missouri seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Long Term Care Unit on the night shift. This full-time role runs 7p-7a with a $5.00/hour wage. The CNA will perform direct resident care, support with ADLs, and maintain accurate documentation in line with policy.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, reporting to the nurse, assisting with meals, and following safety and conduct standards. CPR certification preferred; MO/KS CNA certifications as required.

Qualifications

• This job requires a high school diploma or GED.
• MO CNA certification required if MO; KS CNA and Home Health Aide certification required if KS
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to residents, assisting with ADLs.
• Records temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures; records weights.
• Keeps residents clean, dry and comfortable.
• Reports resident information to supervising nurse promptly.
• Completes required nursing care documentation.
• May perform custodial, housekeeping, food service duties, and wheelchair escort services.
• Assists residents with eating when necessary.
• Participates in case conferences related to care goals.
• Follows departmental policies and safety regulations.
• Maintain professional workplace conduct.
