Job summary

CBRE is seeking a hands-on Building Engineer in Boston's Lovejoy Wharf to uphold high standards of maintenance and safety. You will service mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with a premium corporate environment to deliver exceptional facilities support.

The role offers daytime hours (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) with no overnight shifts, plus on-site amenities. A strong attention to detail and customer-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination
• Universal CFC certification preferred
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious approach

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Maintain facility and building systems to applicable standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and company directives related to operations and safety.
• Maintain an energy management program for efficient operation of systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
