CBRE Group, Inc. is hiring a Building Engineer at our premier waterfront facility in Boston’s Lovejoy Wharf.

You will support a world-class corporate environment, delivering reliable maintenance and service excellence with a focus on safety, quality, and client experience. The role covers mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life-safety systems, with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy management to keep systems operating efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives.
• Maintain an energy management program and ensure efficient operation of systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials handling and a clean workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation within design specs.
• Apply standard principles to accomplish complex tasks and provide solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function.
