Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Building Engineer to join our engineering team at Boston's Lovejoy Wharf.

You will maintain and repair building systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to keep a world-class facility operating at peak performance. Expect premium daytime hours (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM), no overnight shifts, and access to on-site amenities in a premier waterfront workplace.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to adapt to new solutions and shifts.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
• Maintain an energy management program and ensure systems run efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design limits.
• Apply knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
