Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Gloucester Day Program in Swedesboro, NJ. The role is onsite, 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, totaling 40 hours weekly.

DSPs support autistic and developmentally challenged individuals and follow behavioral plans to help residents achieve personal goals. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ($19.61–$20.00) with incentives, full benefits, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Aspiration to work with autistic, intellectually and developmentally challenged individuals
• Prior experience in relevant care settings preferred
• Strong desire to help individuals with disabilities

Responsabilités

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data
• Provide assistance with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, money management, housekeeping)
• Provide personal care and supervision and teach daily living skills
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings
• Ensure safe transportation and crisis intervention per Bancroft standards
• Complete paperwork and maintain communication with residents and families
