Job summary

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Gloucester Program in Swedesboro, NJ. This onsite role supports autistic and developmentally challenged individuals, with a 3rd shift schedule (Wed–Sat, 11p–9a), totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license.
• One year driving experience recommended; license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities: personal hygiene, meals, money management, and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision to help individuals reach goals and transition to less restrictive settings.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behavior per Bancroft safety/crisis procedures; complete required paperwork and maintain communication with residents and families.
