Job summary

Bancroft in Woodstown, NJ is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with autism and developmental disabilities within our Gloucester Program.

This onsite, full-time role involves implementing behavioral plans, assisting with daily living, transportation to appointments, and documenting activities while adhering to Bancroft’s safety standards. A valid driver’s license and relevant education are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License in the candidate’s legal name and current address; one year driving experience.
• Minimum of six months related work experience OR Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, money management, and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision; teach daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behavior situations and provide intervention per Bancroft’s safety standards.
• Complete paperwork and communicate with residents’ families and guardians as required.
