Job summary

Bancroft is hiring Direct Support Professionals for the Gloucester Program in Woodstown, NJ. This onsite DSP role supports autistic and developmentally disabled individuals, carries out treatment plans, and helps with daily living activities.

The position includes 30 hours per week with second shift coverage and incentives. The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License in the candidate’s legal name and current address; one year minimum driving experience.
• Minimum of six months related work experience OR Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, social awareness, meals, money management, housekeeping).
• Provide personal care and supervision; teach daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behavior situations and apply crisis techniques per Bancroft standards; complete paperwork and documentation; communicate with residents and families.
