Job summary

HIVED is seeking a Day Ops Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our depots, overseeing both on-the-road and in-depot activities. You will manage morning driver set-offs, coordinate with shift managers, and plan labor for the week to maintain performance standards.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience in OTR/dispatch environments, strong leadership, and a focus on safety, efficiency and continuous improvement. This is an on-site position with a 4-on/3-off pattern and weekend work.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years’ experience leading fast-paced OTR / dispatch / last-mile operations.
• Strong command of driver operations, route execution, and dispatch accuracy.
• Hands-on shift leadership with ability to manage 30–100+ staff via supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift during rotation and manage Shift Managers, Coordinators, Fleet Specialists to deliver day-time performance.
• Receive handover from Night Manager and deliver handover to mid-Shift Manager.
• Be the GM’s primary support and deliver strong handovers.
• Lead and develop team on shift rotation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
