Job summary

Paris Baguette North America in Bethesda, MD is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Baker Assistant to join our growing team. Starting wage is $16.00 per hour with an early morning shift from 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

No prior baking experience is required as training will be provided. You will learn to proof, shape, and bake bread from frozen dough according to Paris Baguette specifications, operate ovens and dough sheeter, and maintain production logs.

Qualifications

• 0 to 6 months of bakery or kitchen production experience (training provided).
• Food Handler Certification (or within 30 days of hire) required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6+ hours.
• Reliable attendance, basic English literacy.
• Willing to learn - no prior baking required.
• Proof, shape, and bake bread from frozen dough per Paris Baguette specs.
• Operate ovens, proofer, and dough sheeter under supervision.
• Maintain production schedule and timing logs.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, follow allergen protocols.
