Job summary

Paris Baguette in Bethesda is seeking enthusiastic and responsible bakers to join our growing family. Available shift starts from 2:00 AM - 10:30 AM, with starting pay at $16 per hour for a Baker Assistant.

No prior baking experience is required; training will be provided. You will proof, shape, and bake bread from frozen dough, operate ovens and dough sheeter, and maintain production schedules while following allergen protocols. Join a supportive team and enjoy flexible benefits.

• 0 to 6 months of bakery or kitchen production experience (training will be provided).
• Food Handler Certification (or within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6+ hours.

• Proof, shape, and bake bread from frozen dough per Paris Baguette specs.
• Operate ovens, proofer, and dough sheeter under supervision.
• Maintain production schedule and timing logs.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, follow allergen protocols.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 0 to 6 months of bakery or kitchen production experience (training will be provided)

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, quality program
• Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure
• Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge (include FDA)
• Confectionery/Foods major recommended
• Food Handler’s Certificate
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task
