Job summary

Peraton in the United States is seeking a Datacenter Technical Support Representative to provide hands-on support in a data center environment. You will install, configure, and maintain hardware, assist end users, and apply procedures to resolve problems quickly while meeting service level agreements.

Collaborate with network and systems engineers, support changes, and help optimize uptime and fault resolution through proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience, or equivalent combinations.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience in Data Center environments & understanding of network protocols.
• Flexible 24x7x365 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware such as servers, racks, network equipment, and PDUs.
• Manage cable infrastructure and fiber optics per industry standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with network and system engineers to integrate hardware with the data center environment.
• Provide advanced technical advice on installation and configuration of rack components.
