LEAD Technical in Buffalo, NY is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to install, rack, and cable servers and networking gear, monitor system alerts, and perform routine hardware upgrades.

The role requires participating in on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations, while maintaining clean and organized data center spaces.
Install, rack, and cable servers, networking equipment, and power distribution units in a data center environment
Monitor system alerts and respond to basic hardware or connectivity issues
Perform routine maintenance, including hardware upgrades, replacements, and troubleshooting
Document configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately
Assist with inventory management, including tracking and organizing equipment
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
Support senior technicians with deployments, diagnostics, and repairs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of data center spaces
Coordinate with network, systems, and facilities teams as needed
Participate in on-call rotations or shift work to support 24/7 operations
