Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Datacenter Technical Support Representative to join our data center team. You will install, configure, and maintain servers, racks, network equipment, and PDUs, while applying policies to resolve issues quickly and meet SLAs.

You will provide technical guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, and enhancement of programs in the data center; support end users through various channels; and work closely with engineers to ensure reliable IT systems and cabling

Qualifications

• Experience in a Data Center environment and knowledge of network protocols.
• Experience supporting both Hardware and Software tools within a Data Center.
• Flexibility to cover 24x7x365 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, racks, network equipment, and PDUs.
• Manage cable infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with network and system engineers for seamless hardware integration.
• Provide advanced guidance on rack components and IT system configurations.
