Job summary

Siemens Energy in North America is seeking a Datacenter Segment Sales Director to lead a dedicated sales team focused on growing revenue and expanding market share in the datacenter space. You will partner with regional and business leadership to prioritize high-value pursuits and improve profitable order entry across the Grid Technologies portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 10 or more years of experience in datacenter sales, key account leadership and commercial strategy.
• Proven track record in leading regional or national sales organizations and managing multi-billion-dollar pipelines.
• Extensive commercial experience in energy-related sectors and deep understanding of Grid Technologies portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and retain a team of datacenter-focused sales and account managers.
• Deliver financial targets by identifying and closing opportunities with consultative support for Grid Technology products and services.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the portfolio and datacenter market, coordinating with business units to provide accurate sales forecasts and cross-functional value propositions.
• Develop and execute a customer strategy that highlights pain points and buying behaviors, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy stakeholders.
• Lead the team in executing the sales process by influencing decision-makers and serving as the primary contact for customer relationships and new opportunities, while managing contract negotiations.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels, engaging early with potential partners and facilitating executive sponsor meetings.
• Foster an ownership culture by promoting safety and accountability within client organizations, while driving personal and professional development goals for your team.
