Job summary

Slalom seeks a Senior Principal Databricks Lead in Nashville to shape high-impact Databricks solutions. You will partner with sales, industry, and Databricks teams to design scalable data and AI platforms, from data engineering to GenAI workloads, aligning technical work with client value.

You will bring 8+ years in consulting and data architecture, 5+ years delivering modern cloud data platforms, and strong presales leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, AI, or cloud engineering.
5+ years designing and delivering modern data platforms in cloud environments.
3+ years leading technical presales, solutioning, or pursuit processes.
GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, ML/LLMOps familiarity; Mosaic AI, Agent Bricks, MLflow, or Vector Search a plus.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services.
Commercial and executive presence; translate complex topics into business value.

Responsibilities

Lead Databricks solution strategy with sales, industry, and Databricks teams to shape pursuits and craft proposals.
Architect modern data and AI platforms across data engineering, lakehouse, analytics, and ML workloads.
Advise clients on Databricks capabilities, governance, and platform adoption.
Develop TCO/ROI narratives and drive modernization and migration programs.
Drive partner-led growth with field teams and market units.
