Job summary

Slalom seeks a Senior Principal Databricks Lead to shape high‑impact data and AI initiatives. You will partner with sales, industry, and Databricks teams to craft solutions that connect Databricks capabilities with Slalom’s consulting, engineering, and delivery strengths.

You will design scalable data and AI platforms, guide solution architecture, and drive pursuit leadership, ensuring business value is communicated to executives and delivery teams alike.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, or cloud engineering, incl. 5+ years designing and delivering modern data platforms in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Databricks Solution Strategy with sales, industry, and Databricks teams
• Architect Modern Data and AI Platforms across data engineering, lakehouse, analytics, ML, GenAI workloads
• Bring Databricks Platform Expertise including Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, and more
• Connect business value to technical decisions with TCO, ROI, modernization, migration narratives
• Drive Partner‑Led Growth with field and market teams across industries and regions
• Create Repeatable Solutions via offerings, demos, reference architectures, accelerators, and plays
• Guide Delivery Excellence with technical oversight during pursuit‑to‑delivery transitions
