Job summary

Slalom seeks a Senior Principal Databricks Solution Lead to drive Databricks partnerships and shape high-impact data and AI initiatives. You will lead strategy, design scalable platforms, and deliver compelling client solutions while collaborating with sales, industry teams, and Databricks specialists.

You will bring 8+ years in data/AI architecture with hands-on Databricks expertise, plus 3+ years of presales leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years in consulting, data architecture, analytics, AI, or cloud engineering.
5+ years designing and delivering modern data platforms in cloud environments.
3+ years leading technical presales, solutioning, or pursuit processes.
Familiarity with GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, ML/LLMOps, model evaluation, and serving patterns.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services.

Responsibilities

Lead Databricks Solution Strategy with sales, industry, and Databricks teams.
Architect scalable Databricks solutions across data engineering, lakehouse, analytics, and ML workloads.
Provide Databricks platform expertise covering Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, and more.
Develop narratives for TCO, ROI, modernization, migration, and platform adoption.
Drive partner-led growth by shaping opportunities with Databricks and Slalom teams.
Create repeatable solutions, demos, reference architectures, accelerators, and plays.
Guide delivery excellence with technical oversight from pursuit to delivery.
