Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Partner Solution Lead, Databricks for the Central Region in Austin, TX. You will sit at the intersection of Slalom's Databricks business unit, regional sales teams, industry leaders, solution architects, and Databricks partner teams.

You will help shape high-impact pursuits, bring technical clarity to client problems, and design solutions that connect Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform with Slalom's broader capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in consulting or data architecture with cloud engineering experience
• Hands-on Databricks expertise including lakehouse governance and production patterns
• 3+ years leading technical presales, solutioning, or pursuit processes
• Familiarity with GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, ML/LLMOps and related tooling
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services across storage, compute, security
• Ability to translate complex tech topics into business value for executives and delivery teams
• Delivery background in data modeling, pipelines, DevOps, migrations, optimization
• Track record of growing client relationships and collaborating with partner teams

Responsibilities

• Lead Databricks solution strategy with sales and partner teams
• Architect modern data and AI platforms across lakehouse, analytics, ML/GenAI workloads
• Advise on Databricks capabilities like Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Delta Lake, MLflow
• Develop TCO, ROI, migration narratives for client value
• Drive partner-led growth across priority industries and regions
• Create repeatable offerings, demos, accelerators, and sales plays
• Provide technical oversight during pursuit-to-delivery transitions
