Job summary

Nexiva Inc. is seeking a Hybrid Database Administrator in Richmond, VA to administer, maintain and secure the ERP database infrastructure. You will implement data models, manage access, and troubleshoot performance and capacity issues on Oracle databases both in OCI and on-prem environments.

The role requires strong communication and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent). In-person interview for local candidates is expected.

Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
