Job summary

Software Technology Inc is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to administer, maintain, and optimize our ERP database infrastructure. Responsibilities include security, data modeling, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning across Oracle 19c, RAC/ASM, and Data Guard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems or computer science.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in DBA/Oracle databases.
• Strong experience with Oracle 19c and RAC/ASM on Linux.
• Experience migrating Oracle databases to OCI.
• Experience with RMAN backup and recovery; Data Guard.

Responsibilities

• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the ERP database.
• Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.

Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
