Job summary

My3tech is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to administer and enhance the ERP database infrastructure. The role focuses on Oracle 19c/21c in OCI and on-premises environments, implementing security policies and performance tuning.

You will manage migrations to OCI, Data Guard setups, RMAN backups, and OEM-based monitoring, with emphasis on reliability and documentation. The position requires strong troubleshooting, excellent written and verbal communication, and a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems or computer science.
• 10+ years DBA experience with Oracle 19c/21c in OCI and on-premises environments.
• Experience migrating Oracle databases to OCI and handling Data Guard and RMAN.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers, maintains and implements ERP database policies for security and integrity.
• Develops data models and designs; handles performance and capacity issues.
• Performs migrations of Oracle databases to OCI and related upgrades.
• Performs RMAN backups and recovery; uses Data Guard for standby setups.
• Maintains exports/imports with Data Pump and uses OEM for monitoring and patching.

Job Description:

Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
