Job summary

Arthur Grand Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to support Oracle 19c in OCI and on-prem environments, including RAC/ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and migrations to OCI. Hybrid Richmond VA contract.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of DBA experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Manager and Data Pump. OCP certification is highly desirable; Linux/Unix admin experience is a plus; MS SQL Server experience is also welcomed.

Qualifications

• Strong DBA experience with Oracle 19c and Oracle RAC/ASM on Linux.
• Experience in supporting Databases in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Experience in supporting Oracle Databases on premise.
• Experience in Migrating Oracle databases to OCI.
• Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
• Experience with Data Guard Physical Standby.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2019 or newer is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company’s ERP database.
• Performs database design and maintenance, data access and table maintenance; resolves performance and capacity issues; coordinates with stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
