Job summary

Williamsburg James City County Schools seeks an Integrated Data and Systems Specialist to support the division's digital resources and to assist with integrating software for students and staff. The role includes monitoring usage, creating data visuals, and maintaining dashboards for division-wide programs.

You will work with Excel, Power Automate, and PowerBI to analyze data, automate processes, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerAutomate, PowerBI) and data reporting/visualization.
• Experience with EdTech tools such as Destiny, Microsoft Office, Canvas, and others
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, teachers, administrators and volunteers.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Prefer expert level experience with Power Automate, PowerBI, Excel and/or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and reports usage data for technology tools for program review.
• Uses Excel to analyze data and perform extracts/imports to/from web-based systems.
• Uses Power Automate to support process updates and workflows.
• Uses PowerBI to communicate data and progress on division dashboards, both public and internal-facing.
• Supports integration of database and digital resources on internal and external websites.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot data services.
• Collaborate on automated processes across departments and division-wide.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
