Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Data Scientist to lead development of statistical and ML models for the FALCON program. Remote within the continental US. You will work with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights for mission-focused software capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years applying ML to time series/geospatial data, strong Python and data visualization skills, and a TS/geo data background. Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• US citizen and current Top Secret clearance required.
• Strong Python skills with data science libraries.
• 3+ years applying ML to time series or geospatial data.
• 3+ years PostgreSQL, HDFS, and Git experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 5+ years industry data science.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of analytic solutions to meet customer needs.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create a common operating picture.
• Develop statistical analyses and scoring metrics for algorithms.
• Create training and test datasets to improve models.
• Produce analytic reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers and mission partners in a remote-first environment.
