Job summary

Vantor seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of statistical and machine learning models for the FALCON program. This role can be performed remotely within the continental United States.

The ideal candidate will derive models to detect kinematic behaviors using live and historical data and will run simulations to inform approaches for analytics integration. You will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, and customer stakeholders to build data pipelines

Qualifications

• Masters in related field with 5+ years in data science, or a Bachelors with 10+ years experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance or CBP/DHS suitability.
• Strong Python and libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
• Experience with time series and geospatial data processing/analysis.
• 7+ years applying ML to time series/geospatial data.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and data storage.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in designing analytic solutions that meet customer needs.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create a common operating picture.
• Develop mission-focused software applications and data pipelines.
• Perform data processing, ETL, and feature engineering.
• Produce analytic reports and presentations for stakeholders.
