Vantor seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of statistical and machine learning models for the FALCON initiative. You will work with data from live and historical sources to detect behaviors and support the system with analytics.

Remote work is available across the continental United States. The role requires US citizenship and an active Top Secret/CBP-DHS suitability, with data-driven decisions shaping mission-focused software capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, data analytics, CS, physics, math or related field with 5+ years of industry experience (or a Bachelor's with 10+ years).
• Current Top Secret security clearance and/or CBP/DHS suitability.
• Strong Python data science stack experience and time series/geospatial data analysis.
• Deep understanding of statistics, regression, testing, and ML for time series/geospatial data.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Git, and big data tools (HDFS).
• Experience in agile environments and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytic solution design to meet customer needs and improve performance.
• Incorporate data from multiple sources to build a common operating picture.
• Develop and evaluate machine learning algorithms for time series and geospatial data.
• Create training/test datasets and document data science processes.
• Produce analytic reports and data visualizations for stakeholders.
