Qualifications

• US citizen status required.
• Ability to obtain CBP/DHS suitability.
• Bachelor's degree in data-related field; up to 4 extra years may substitute.
• Proficiency with Python and data science libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, scipy).
• Willing to work remotely within the continental US and communicate via video calls.
• Experience with time-series and geospatial data.
• Strong background in statistics (testing, regression, probability).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and HDFS.

Responsibilities

• Assist team in designing analytic solutions that meet customer needs.
• Enhance existing analytic solutions for quality and performance.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create a common operating picture.
• Select and implement statistical analyses and scoring metrics for algorithms.
• Create training and test datasets to improve algorithms.
• Perform ETL and data processing tasks.
• Derive analytic reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Identify data visualization needs for analysis and UI.
